Patients, as well as their family and friends, can have many different feelings and concerns related to being in the hospital. Patients and families are referred to a social worker when they require counselling, discharge planning, or referrals to community agencies.

Our social worker provides confidential patient and family support in a non-judgmental atmosphere, helping to clarify issues, work through difficult decisions and plan solutions.
