Preventing Burns

The most common types of burns are:

Did you know? Hot liquids or vapours cause 48 percent of burn injuries in BC, while the second major cause of injury is from fire ignition of clothing.

Fire and burn injuries are the second-leading cause of accidental death in children one to four years of age, and the third leading cause of injury and dealth for those aged one to 18.
